Croyde Bay has the best surf . Saunton Sands is three and a half miles of golden sand and impressive sand dunes. Instow has a wide flat estuary excellent for dog walks
Ilfracombe harbour is the largest working harbour in North Devon and has been in existence as a port for many centuries. It is the bustling heart of the community and changes completely every twelve hours. Enjoy swimming, and sunbathing during the day in the harbour. Crabbing can be done from the end of the pier.
